Application: The 17th International Painting and Calligraphy Awards Exhibition

Purpose

To promote the revitalization of culture and art through friendly international exchanges of calligraphy and painting.

Exhibition Dates

 2024/5/29 (Wednesday) to 2024/6/4(Tuesday) (1st floor, 4th exhibition room in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum)

Award Ceremony

Award Ceremony (scheduled): May 29th 2024 (Wednesday), 2 pm to 5 pm (Address conference room in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum)

Participating qualifications

No restrictions on nationality, affiliation, experience, gender, age

Types of work

Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, acrylic painting (figurative and abstract)

Work size

Chinese paintings and calligraphy works must be mounted on vertical hanging scrolls, and the picture core size is 35CM×136CM or 35CM×68CM.

Oil and acrylic paintings only need inner frame, not outer frame. The picture core size is F8 (45.5CM×38CM) .

Participation fee

800 RMB / per work per person, (including participation certificate or award certificate). After the exhibition, all works will be returned to the authors, and a mailing fee (EMS express fee) 200 RMB (China and other Asian countries) or The mailing fee is charged in the same amount as the mailing fee to Japan (Europe, America, Australia and other countries). The total exhibition fee and international mailing fee are 1,000 RMB or 800 RMB+ a mailing fee. Each participant can get one portfolio of the exhibition’s works for free.

Application Method

Send the photos of the works to the Association for review via WeChat or email, and those who pass the review will participate in the exhibition according to the following methods. Please fill out the application form for participation, and attach the form to fill in the name, gender, birth date, contact address, telephone number, and email address, and send it directly with the exhibited works to: (in the mail, write “International Painting and Calligraphy Awards”)
